JBP has provided communications support to the property development team at Sainsbury’s for over ten years, working as part of a multidisciplinary regional planning team in the South West of England. The role encompasses all public affairs and stakeholder management activity during the planning process for new stores, including briefing of politicians at local and national level and the management of public consultation exercises, as well as handling community relations during the construction phases.
