Bristol Drugs Project

The Bristol area is currently served by one of the most successful Drug Action Teams (DAT) in the country, the Bristol Drugs Project (BDP). This pioneering charity has been at work in the city for 21 years and helps care for more than half of the 8,000 Bristol people currently being treated for serious drug problems. However, in the coming year, BDP, Avon and Somerset Constabulary, local GPs and other working partners have been warned that public spending will reduce and that drug services are likely to suffer. JBP is working with BDP on a strategic campaign to engage the city's support for increased funding for BDP, through both media and lobbying campaigns. Please click here for case study.
